  1. You’d think that during “the shutdown” we’d have *more* time than usual to write; but my experience has been the opposite.

    It has taken more effort to keep groceries and other household items stocked. For a while there, I was ordering groceries from two of Houston’s major supermarket chains. One of them had a week-long turnaround. That takes more planning on the consumer’s part. (Their turnaround times are finally back to same or next day.)

    And my husband has been bored. He has missed his volunteer work at a major therapy center for patients with brain and spinal injuries.

    Houston–and Texas–are coming back to life, though. So…back to my trilogy! No excuses! ( I miss the hero, anyway.)
